Setting up a Blog

With the prospect of retirement and inspired by the movie "Julie & Julia," I decided to start a blog. With our 21st century mentality of point-and-click, I thought this would be a simple undertaking. WRONG! There are a wealth of tools available to make this process easy -- banners and backgrounds and headers and fonts and gadgets (what's a gadget???) -- but that's just the problem. With a wealth of opportunities comes a wealth of decisions. For the moment, I am pleased to have figured out how to liven up my blog with a free background. I will learn how to make my own at a later date.
