I went to the Orchid Show at the Botanical Garden and saw this really interesting species. It's called "Dancing Ladies," because the flower petals look like little Cinderellas dancing up and down the stem. The petals were a much brighter yellow than are showing here. I've never been a big orchid fan, but it was surprising how many of the different flowers represented some type of shape - Flamenco dancers, animals, etc. It was a great day to be outside - sunny and 70. Much different than our start of the week with snow on Monday. We even had lunch at the outdoor cafe and watched all the people come and go in their green St Patrick's-wear.
