Yesterday I went on a Jesuit retreat with my fellow teachers. This retreat center was located along the Meramec River. Unfortunately, it rained most of the day making the hiking trails too muddy to wander down to the water. Instead, I stayed up top admiring the last of the fall leaves. Most of them are on the ground, but a few are still clinging to the trees. The theme of the retreat was
passion and indifference. Passion I have no problem with; focusing on a single passion - now that's a problem.
