I've been taking the Metrolink to school every day - February's winter weather is always so iffy. It sure paid off yesterday. As I was leaving school, I thought it had started raining, but it was actually tiny little ice pellets. Coupled with the cold wind, they were really stinging my face. The freeway was a parking lot (it doesn't take much for that to happen late in the afternoon). It seems like we always get bad weather right at the beginning of a weekend.

Ice Pellets

As I was leaving school, I thought it had started raining, but it was actually tiny little ice pellets. Coupled with the cold wind, they were really stinging my face.
