The second weekend in September, St Louis has an outdoor art fair just a few blocks from our house. The selection process is very rigorous and artists from all over the country come to display their work. This year we decided to check out the "alternative" art fair sponsored by a local microbrewery. While the talent pool might not be quite as prestigious, all the artists are from St Louis, plus we got to take a break in the beer garden and listen to some bluegrass music. Not a bad way to spend a gorgeous Saturday afternoon.
