On the road again - this time to do a teacher workshop in Wichita. I haven't driven down the Kansas Turnpike in years. Even though it's pricey ($4 from Kansas City to Wichita), it was a pure delight not to drive in bumper-to-bumper traffic. And unlike St Louis where people drive 75 mph in 55 mph zones, the legal speed limit in Kansas is 75 mph. Sure makes the trip go fast.
Oh, and regarding the workshop - another unexpected delight. The teachers in Wichita actually listened!
