Last day in Paris. We spent a chunk of the time just sitting on the benches in Luxembourg Garden admiring the flowers and all the people getting an early start to the weekend. We had lunch at an outdoor cafe at the Place de Sorbonne - a plaza right next to the university. Most of the tables were filled with students (Bruce said we looked like their professors). Tomorrow we head south to Toulouse (near the border of Spain). On Wednesday we go east to Strasbourg (almost to Germany). I heard the two areas have very different food, wine, and customs, so I'm looking forward to comparing the differences. It's been a good month, but as beautiful as Paris is and as good as their food is, I don't think I'm ready to give up living in the US.
