Courtney got me theater tickets to
Rock of Ages for Christmas, and we finally got to see it Saturday night. It was a very funny musical (though somewhat raunchy) with VERY loud music from the 80's. I thought it was a pretty appropriate mother-daughter outing, since Courtney was born in 1983, right when all the songs from the show were popular. Most of the people in the audience had been teenagers during the 80's, so they knew all the words to the songs and were singing along. Unfortunately, the gentleman behind me, while very enthusiastic, was also somewhat tone-deaf.
