Well there are some advantages to moving into another decade. Yesterday I went to the theater and got a discount for being over 60. I saw the movie "42" - the Jackie Robinson story about the first African-American to play major league baseball. The movie starred one of my favorite actors, Harrison Ford, who played Branch Rickey, the general manager for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Chadwick Boseman played Jackie Robinson. I read a magazine article on the way to Paris that said the director did not want Harrison Ford in the movie. He thought Ford would make Rickey look like Indiana Jones. But it turned out to be a wonderful movie and even better when you see it on the cheap.
