We had Ameren come talk to the teachers today. The rep did an amazing demo of all the different types of CFC bulbs and the way they change the paint color in your house. These women were holding up the exact same cards, but one looked green and one looked yellow. My sister guilted me into replacing the lights in my livingroom with CFSs and now the paint color looks hideous, but at least I know why. Those old bulbs are heading to the garage and I'm going to get the right kind for my paint color.
In the afternoon, everyone learned how to wire switches and lights. About 7 teachers (all men) said they knew how to do electricity. Funny thing, though, the only person who got shocked today was one of the people who claimed to have experience with wiring. Hmmmmm....
