For the past 21 years my friend, Jenny, and I have attended the SLUH Card Party in the fall. We started going when our sons were freshmen in high school together and have been going ever since. We never play cards, but instead spend our time shopping at the White Elephant, Gift Basket, and Bakery booths. One of the "highlights" of the card party are the attendance prizes... Highlights for other people, that is. In 21 years, I think I've only won an attendance prize twice.
