I can't believe Baby Violet is 9 months old already. This 9 months flew by much faster than the 9 months she spent in her mother's tummy. She got all dressed up for Christmas photos recently. She's not quite old enough to ask Santa for presents, but she loves the wrapping paper that goes on Christmas gifts. Most kids like to tear it apart; Violet likes to eat it. Her grandmother says they have to watch her when they go to a restaurant, because Violet will stuff the napkins in her mouth. Maybe I should try that. The other day I ate a Christmas cookie, and with all the no-fat, no-sugar substitutes they are using these days, I think the napkin would have had more flavor.
