Since Courtney had to head back to Chicago early on Christmas Day, I jumped in the car and headed off to KC for dinner with my Dad and sisters.
Everyone was there - my niece, Melissa, (Violet's mother) wearing the sweater we bought her in Chicago,
and my nephew, Michael, with his girlfriend, Ashley.
Michael gave my Dad a candy dispenser. It's one of those sensor-based ones like the soap dispensers in public restrooms - when you wave your hand under the sensor, you get a handful of candy. Thank goodness that gift is staying in KC.
This is Karen with the devil dog. She looks very innocent and cute with big brown eyes (the dog), but she loves to steal toys from Baby Violet and bite her sister dog.
But of course the star of the day was Baby Violet. She was showered with presents for her first Christmas. Unbelievably that girl is already walking across the floor pushing her baby stroller all on her own.
