Good grief, it feels like it was just yesterday that we were in NYC celebrating Melissa's 30th birthday and now we're up to her 31st. And grass doesn't grown under her feet. During the past year she's had a baby, taken a couple vacations to Gulf Shores and Phoenix, sold her first house, and is building a new one. She quit her job to become a stay-at-home mom, is a voracious reader to Baby Violet, takes her to swimming lessons (which requires that Melissa get into the pool, too), and since Violet has learned to walk, chases after her night and day. It makes me tired just to think about it.
