After seeing some of the projects I made at ArtVenture, my sister, Karen, asked me to make a collage for her birthday. It's actually in June, but I got the collage finished early and couldn't wait to give it to her. Since I didn't have any original photos, I edited several digital pictures in Photoshop to look like the originals. The large picture in the middle is our family when Karen was just a baby. I used my little distressing tool on all the photos, so they look really worn out and old - not like they just came off my HP printer. I added lots of trinkets and flowers and scrap papers, so there are many layers to look at. I had such a good time making it that I'm going to make one for myself.
