I haven't seen my teacher friends in ages, so yesterday I went out to lunch with two and dinner with a third and I was very proud of myself for having a sandwich and salad for lunch and a salad and soup for dinner and steering clear of the gooey butter cake for dessert (they had 9 different flavors!).
My dinner friend is a quilter and has made over 25 outfits for her granddaughter's dolls. When she found out I was trying to make some American Girl doll clothes, she gave me a "few" of her scraps. I'm not sure I'm quite this ambitious, but I figure I've got a few years before Baby Violet is old enough for her first American Girl doll.
