House Projects

While I was in Portland, Mr Handyman went on another of his whirlwind home-makeover sprees. He installed a gable fan in the attic, a programmable thermostat for the AC, and built two sections of fence to hide the trash containers.
Not to be outdone, I crawled up into the attic and installed some Enerflex radiant panels between the rafters. Reviews are mixed on whether this stuff really works, but the engineer/scientist in me thinks the principal makes sense - reflect the infrared solar energy back out through the roof. We'll see. I had a few scraps left over, so I'm planning to test them during my Green Home workshop this summer.
