The new robotics season started this month. I taught a training class for new coaches at the Girl Scout Council Office on Monday night. It was a quite a challenge working with adults instead of kids. Some coaches were totally new, so they came with their robot kits still wrapped in plastic. Some had been coaches before, so they came with their robots built, but not necessarily charged up. I'd say the only really successful person of the night (the one whose robot did what she programmed it to do) was the little 9-year old girl whose parents couldn't get a babysitter. Go figure.
