Wandering Walker

I stumbled on a blog post the other day in which the writer referred to herself as the Wandering Walker. Since it was a gorgeous fall day, I was inspired to head out on my own adventure. I took MetroLink down to the Central West End station and proceeded to walk home through the park (about 15,000 steps).
It was fun to see the different ways other people were enjoying the nice weather. I saw people boating,
fishing,
playing golf,
on a school field trip,
and having a drink with friends (I saw A LOT of people doing this).
A few were working, but that's nothing new. The construction never seems to stop in this neighborhood. I've heard that fall is the shoulder season between heat exhaustion and hypothermia. Guess I'd better enjoy it as long as it lasts.
