Union Station Urban Sketching

Our Urban Sketchers group met up at Union Station's Grand Hall this weekend. It was an amazing place to sketch - almost TOO intricate with marble columns and statues and gold leaf on everything. I chose to focus on one little corner above a window and it took me 2 hours to get that much detail (I actually ran out of time and could have painted longer). Lots of really talented people showed up to sketch. Since it was such a nice day (60 degrees out!), I thought about walking home, but I texted Bruce to meet me at Crushed Red for lunch instead. Luckily, I got enough steps for the day walking back and forth from Metrolink.
