With the lockdown, it's hard to know what day of the week it is let alone what day of the month. So on Sunday, when I called Courtney to wish her Happy Easter, she informed me that I was a week early. Bummer. I'd really tried to get into the spirit of the celebration even though church services have been cancelled. I found an old Easter egg coloring kit when I cleaned out one of the closets (the eggs in the back are supposed to be "24 karat gold"). I made a ham and potato salad for dinner, and even managed to find some Russell Stover's chocolate eggs at the grocery store. Oh well. I guess next Sunday we'll celebrate Memorial Day and grill hot dogs.
