Some mothers are happy to get breakfast in bed on Mothers' Day. I was excited about scoring a successful shopping trip to Walmart for soap and paper products. Of course, I felt like I was on one of those reality game shows, where you have to race through the store as fast as you can plucking items off the shelves before someone else gets it. But I managed to get everything on my list. Funny thing was, Walmart had a huge display of flowers right inside the door, but everyone was hustling past it to get to the toilet paper aisle.
