I finally finished the beach house and snuck up to KC to deliver it to my friend's granddaughter. She thought it was "awesome" - high praise from a 5-year old. It looks pretty good all set up in this picture. She even has her doll (who is significantly smaller than "little Michele") lounging in the hammock. Notice the little flamingo innertube in the foreground? Even though I said I wasn't going to buy any new supplies, I found that at Dollar Tree and couldn't resist.
I was only in KC for a day, but I managed to have lunch with Janet, Teresa, and Melissa's family. I forgot to take pix of the kids. We got involved in playing Uno and programming my Botley robot.
