Normally I don't referee the final robotics event, but since it was all on Zoom again, I was able to participate. I think I like the rookie matches better (easier to ref), but it was fun to see how the advancing teams had improved their robots with an additional month of construction and coding. It was harder to referee, because the robots scored a lot more points than the first time around. We actually ended up in a tie with 2 teams scoring 415 points. That's a lot of activity in only 2 and a half minutes.
