Hot Chocolate & Scones

I taught a STEM workshop on Thursday in Washington, Iowa and stopped in at a charming little coffee shop called Cafe Dodici right on the town square. As I was paying for my scone, the cashier asked if I would like a coffee to go with it. They had a wide variety of options on their menu, but unfortunately, I've never been able to tolerate the taste. She suggested a European Hot Chocolate, and being that it was blistering cold outside, that sounded good. Besides, I rarely pass up chocolate. She made it in an Espresso-type machine, so it came all naturally frothy (no whipped cream) - it was absolutely amazing!
