I've tried and tried to take this picture, but I just can't capture the bright yellow glow that these palm fronds have when the sun strikes them. They are really breathtaking. I've been trying to hike this path the past 3 weeks, but I can't seem to get very far before it either rains or a portion of the trail is flooded out from a previous rain. Sand doesn't seem to drain very well.
