Today was the regional competition for the FIRST Tech Robotics Challenge. I drove down to Rolla to be a spectator - no referee'ing this time. It was a very interesting contest, but the robots were so BIG in relation to the playing field. Four of them competed against each other at the same time in a fairly small space, and consequently were running into and falling all over each other. I saw lots of robots turned totally upside down (doesn't help your score). I like the little LEGO robots better - smaller, faster, and cuter.
