Well the trees look like flowers, but at least I painted this much faster than the previous pix. The assignment was to paint this scene in 25 minutes. I'm not sure I like "speed" painting. You'd think if you're on vacation in Paris, you could afford to visit a landmark for longer than 25 minutes, but who knows. I spend too much time pondering and reflecting, and staring at the reference photo (which incidentally is showing fall foliage). Trouble is, this imaginary trip is starting to confuse my real life. I gazed at this scene so long, that when I went outside afterwards, I was shocked to see totally green leaves.

Assignment #6
