It was such a glorious day today that Bruce and I decided to go for a city hike. We originally headed toward Grand Center - the site for all the First Night New Year's activities, but when we got down there, we discovered that the restaurants wouldn't open until 5:00. Granted it was a little early for dinner, but we'd been walking for 2 hours and we were starving. So we kept on walking, looking in shop fronts as we went. We could get a tan or we could get a haircut, but we couldn't find an open place to eat. Another half hour later, we ended up at Union Station. Luckily Landry's was open, so instead of Mexican, we ended the year with seafood.

New Year's Eve Walk
