I took the train from Portland to Seattle and about halfway there, Santa jumped on. How exciting to see him and Mrs Claus walking down the aisle wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. I was thinking that Santa was really getting around this weekend - Gate 37 in Denver, Pioneer Square in Portland, and the Amtrak Cascades to Seattle - when I saw a whole crowd of "Santa's" crossing the street in front of the Asian Market. It seems this is an annual tradition in Seattle - to dress up in a Santa suit and head downtown to the Seattle wharf. Too bad I left my jingle bells at home.
