We woke up this morning to discover that the sewer had backed up overnight into the basement. Bruce said we had a really heavy rainstorm (I slept right through it). Luckily, it only got the utility room wet and didn't reach the carpeting in the media room. So we called Roto-Rooter and the service guy scoured out a ton of roots from the backyard drain (that's my hand holding a clump). Of course this happened on the sloppiest day of the year - what happened to sunny and sixty???

Sewer Roots
We woke up this morning to discover that the sewer had backed up overnight into the basement. Bruce said we had a really heavy rainstorm (I slept right through it). So we called Roto-Rooter and the service guy scoured out a ton of roots from the backyard drain (that's my hand holding a clump).
