According to Groundhog Phil (the official groundhog of Punxsutawney, Pa) we're in for 6 more weeks of winter. But who wouldn't see their shadow on Thursday? It was sunny and 60. Every biker, jogger, golfer, and dog-walker who was out in a t-shirt and shorts saw their shadow on Thursday. Unfortunately the trees seemed to have missed the message. As I was walking home from school yesterday, I noticed that the Bradford Pair trees are heavily budded out - too much warm weather. Doesn't bode well for a pretty spring this year.

Winter Trees
