When we got a new driveway last summer, it left a big gaping dirt patch where some old asphalt used to be. We decided to reclaim it for the backyard by moving the fence over to the far side of the drive. I've always been an enthusiastic gardener (the entire backyard is one big garden, but after making 3 back-breaking trips to the city lot for mulch (24 bags so far!) and still needing more, I think we'll lay sod down after the fence gets moved. BTW, see that pile of sticks near the fence corner? That's the old bush Bruce took out last weekend. The posts from the "gallows" are laying behind the sticks ready to be reinstalled as part of the new fence.
