My Christmas cactus is royally confused. It did absolutely nothing at Christmas, but it bloomed like crazy on Valentine's Day. Then a few days ago, it got another amazing bloom. There's a bud on one of the leaves (see it in the upper left corner?). I wonder if it's going to bloom again on Easter? All the plants seem to be confused this year with our unseasonably warm weather. We had a little rain on Sunday, and then everything just seemed to burst into flower on Monday. Usually the crocus and the Bradford pear trees are the first to appear, but the daffodils and dogwoods beat them. The magnolia trees were absolutely amazing yesterday when I rode my bike to school. Eighty-four degrees in March! Time to get out the shorts and sandals.
