I'm taking a new online class called,
Letter Love, taught by Joanne Sharpe. One of the ladies at our Collage Club meeting told us about it and brought in her workbook. It looked interesting, plus it's only one-fifth the cost taking it online as compared to taking it from her in Chicago. Our first assignment was to practice different fonts styles with different pens. Doesn't sound that technical, but you wouldn't believe how some black pens bleed right though the paper. Yesterday's assignment was to do a lettering "grid" and add some color with pastels. The little foam brush she told us to buy for the pastels fell apart after about 3 lines, so I guess I'll stick with using my finger.
