I saw a
YouTube video on making a journal out of note cards and envelopes and decided to try it. I chose black for my base color, because it went so well with the patterned paper I bought (the paper is called
Tropical Travel by Graphic 45). The envelopes form the pages of the journal, and the inside of the envelopes form a little pocket for a journaling tag or photo mat.
You glue the note cards together to form narrower pockets for even more tags. Easy and lots of fun to do when it's too hot to go outside. Also, if you decide to watch the video, the lady's name is Kathy Orta and she is a real hoot - very entertaining.
