City Biking

I biked to Nerinx today - a high school I used to teach at. It's only 12 miles round trip - about the same distance I travel around the park, but the hills are significantly steeper and more prolific. When I got back home I mapped it out on the internet and came up with this elevation profile. Not to bad on the way there, but lots of killer hills on the way home. I actually did a lot more zigzagging than this profile shows, because there was blocked-off roads everywhere for construction (the kind that even a bike couldn't get through). Even though it's a flat rail trail, I don't think I'm quite ready to do the whole Katy Trail.
