The weatherman said that our summer drought was going to affect the autumn leaves this year. Well, not only were our leaves incredibly colorful, they were also very prolific. We bagged up tons and tons of leaves this fall for the composting center. Last week, the city came by and vacuumed up all the leaves that people raked into the street. There were piles of leaves everywhere - some of them over 6 ft tall. Luckily they picked them all up before the wind storm we had this past weekend blew them all back into the yard.
