We had our annual Pink Luncheon yesterday. Any of the staff from my former high school are invited, but usually just the same group tends to show up. My friend, Betty (former calculus teacher in the striped sweater) is very into pink. She has a pink sunroom, a pink Christmas tree (you can see it behind my head), and even a pink Kitchen Aide mixer in her kitchen. Everyone always dresses up to get into the spirit of the occasion. My pink sweater is significantly more muted than the clothes worn by most of my colleagues.
