Whenever I have to work a conference downtown, I just take MetroLink. It's so much easier than trying to find a parking spot, plus fighting rush hour traffic on the way home. I knew the Cards were in town this week, but I didn't realize they had an afternoon game until the train pulled up to the station packed to the gills with fans. The fans all love to drive to the park-n-ride lot at the beginning of the line, and take the train to the stadium. And since the weather was absolutely glorious, I think everyone but me decided to take the afternoon off from work. Luckily since the Convention Center is two stops past the stadium, I was able to snag a seat before the fans crowded back on for the return trip home.
