Bruce only got about 12 hours at home before he had to head out on another business trip; I got 2 days. I'm working the NSTA STEM conference this week, though technically all I have to do is take the MetroLink downtown (no airports!).My co-worker, Robyn, and I (the friend I abandoned at the airport) set up our booth together. The backdrop (shown below) is 20 ft wide by 10 ft high. It's a tubular steel frame with a giant stretchy fabric pillowcase pulled over it. Talk about two comic figures trying to get that pillowcase over the frame - it was like trying to put panty hose on an elephant. We put it together on the floor and then tried to stand it up and pop it into the floor supports. It's so long and tall that it started tipping back down on our heads, so the Texas Instruments guy ran over to lend us a 3rd pair of hands. We finally got finished about an hour before the exhibit hall officially opened. Robyn went up to her hotel room to take another shower; I went to Panera's for a scone.
