I ran my first summer workshop on Wednesday for a local Catholic girls' high school. Things went really well until AT&T cut off our network connection. It was only cut off for a few seconds, but it takes about 10 minutes to get all the equipment logged back on. Luckily it was time for the lunch break. I had to admire the dedication of these teachers. It was their last day of school before their summer vacation. If it were my last day of school, I'd be heading off to the beach.
There are LEGOs and robots strewn all over the living room floor, the dining room, and my office. I've got 7 other workshops coming up in the next few weeks - all of them different. It's a little tricky to keep everything straight, but since almost all of them involve toys, it's lots of fun.
