Most people usually celebrate their birthdays at a happy hour with co-workers or a party with friends, but Courtney always has to add something just a little different. This weekend, her best friend from high school flew in from Dallas and they participated in a Mud Run. Courtney said it was more like an obstacle course than a running race. Whatever... I usually try to avoid dirt, not jump into it.
On the other hand, I guess it's true what they say - "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." This isn't that much crazier than dressing up in poodle skirts and painting 50's caricatures on your living room walls.
