Art Like Diane Salter

I like Diane Salter's work, because it is very colorful, but my copies don't even begin to look like her originals. I'm not sure what kind of paint she uses, but her artwork is even more vibrant than these. Plus her female figures look much, much younger (maybe that's a Freudian slip).

I went to the Clayton Art Fair on Saturday. Some of the pieces were very interesting, and some weren't really my taste, but all of them were very pricey. This booth caught my eye - "Vincent Van Gourd." I might use a painted gourd as a Thanksgiving centerpiece, but I'm not sure I'd ever put it over the mantle.
