New Art Class

I'm taking an online class from Martha Lever called, "Big Grid Journals." The "grid" part of the class means these pages are drawn on graph paper so all the lines and lettering are horizontally and vertically aligned. It's very colorful, too, though she uses pastel chalks and I'm worried they are going to clog up my pens. I don't know why she only makes spaces for 5 days of the week. I guess she takes a break on Saturdays and Sundays.
I went to the art store the other day and bought some new brushes. I've been doing all my paintings with a single brush, because it's good for traveling. You don't need a cup of water, because the water is stored in the handle of the brush. It's convenient, but sort of limiting in what you can do. It's amazing how much easier things are when you have the right tools.
