We finished another page today in the Missouri Delorme Geocaching Challenge. We went on a hike in Washington State Park (Desoto, Missouri, not the actual state of Washington). The trail was called
1,000 Steps - aptly named because we hiked up and up and up and then down and down and down. The rock steps were placed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Depression, but over the years many of the rocks seem to be shifting and washing down the trail so it was a pretty rickety hike. Luckily it was a nice day and the view at the top was really pretty - easy to see since most of the leaves have fallen off the trees.
