I've been in the mood to do some sewing - something I could do while watching TV. I've always admired people who have needlepoint Christmas stockings. When my kids were growing up, I just made those pre-printed, pre-quilted Christmas stockings that you cut out and sew up from the fabric store. But I saw this kit on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. My original thought had been to make it as a gift for Baby Violet's first Christmas. Well this isn't as easy as it looks. I think I've taken out as many stitches as I've put in. This may turn out to be Baby Violet's wedding gift.
