Paris Again???

We went on a whirlwind geocaching spree this weekend to Paris, Memphis, Princeton, and Mexico. No, not France, Tennessee, New Jersey, or south of the border, but several little towns in northeast Missouri - most of them with a population of 100 or less.
We're working on the Missouri Delorme Challenge where you have to find a geocache on every page in the map book. Not hard to do on page 41 (which is St Louis), but page 24 (which is up near the Iowa border) was pretty tricky. The sun was shining and the fall leaves were at their peak of color, but the wind was brutal - cold and brisk.
One of my favorite stops was this old covered bridge (I felt like I was with Meryl Streep in Bridges of Madison County). Supposedly, there are only 4 covered bridges left in Missouri. This one was in really good shape, though it isn't really used anymore. It's just part of one of the state parks, right next to General Pershing's boyhood home. One thing I learned on this trip is that I'm a true city girl at heart. I hate driving on gravel roads out in the middle of nowhere. Too nerve-wracking.
