December Week 2

This has been a frustrating week weather-wise. It'll be sunny one day, but brutally cold, and then snowing, but warmer the next. What can I say... it's St Louis. Even the weatherman can't seem to get it right. This morning we woke up to a couple more inches of snow, but there is so much salt on the streets that it doesn't seem to be freezing up. My poor car, which Bruce washed last week, is now covered in salt.
On Wednesday I went to my Collage Club Christmas lunch. It was one of the sunny, but blistering cold and windy days. The lady who hosted the party was one of those people who really got into the holiday spirit. Every spare surface in her house was decorated. I kept wondering where she was going to store it all once Christmas was over. The food was fabulous. My favorite was the smoked salmon; it went well with the chocolate torte.
The rest of the week I've just been hanging out working on my robots and some art projects. I moved the TV into my art room so I can keep up with Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas movie marathon. It's been fun, but I'm beginning to feel like those people who work at the mall and get sick of listening to Christmas carols about this time of year. I'm ready for spring.
