Lunch at the Boat House

I met a friend for lunch at the Boat House. I've never been there in the winter, but even though there is snow still on the ground, the sun was shining and it seemed like a good day to get outside. The ducks were still swimming in the water. I guess they don't mind the freezing cold water.
I think one of the bartenders built this snow man. His facial features and buttons were made out of wine corks and beer bottle caps. I'm guessing the orange peel mouth came from a discarded whiskey sour.
I don't think the solar panels at the Science Center were generating much electricity all covered in snow. I'm really surprised that the snow is taking so long to melt with the sun shining, but it was a really, really dense snow judging by all the snowmen in the neighborhood.
